SCREEN PRINTING: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are all image formats acceptable for screen printing?

EPS is the industry-standard graphic file type preferred for screen printing.

Do you only offer certain print sizes?

Based on the garment size, I can recommend the proportionate print size. For instance, if we’re printing on all youth XS and youth SM size t-shirts, then we’ll recommend reducing the print size to where it is most proportionate per garment size.

What type of items can you screen print on?

We offer screen printing on a wide variety of items such as t-shirts, polo shirts, jackets, safety vests, tote bags, pants, shorts, and team apparel.

Can I have the same design printed on different shirt styles and colors?

Absolutely! You can make up the total quantity with different garment styles. Pricing includes screen printing the same design in the exact same print colors on each garment. There will be an ink color change charge if we have to change the print colors on different garment colors.

Do you offer shipment or pickup only?

Both – you may pick up your order at our office located in Atascocita or we can drop your order directly to you with a freight charge.

Where can you print on clothing?

Clothing can be printed in many different locations; front, back, and sleeves.

I would like to use a different brand of shirt then you typically use, is that ok?

We encourage a brand of shirt that we typically use because we can guarantee the shirt and if something were to happen during the printing process (which is rare but can happen) then it can be replaced. With that being said, we do accept outside t-shirts brands, but like to be upfront and honest why we prefer to use our known brands.

What kind of inks are used in screen printing?

Screen printing ink has to be more viscous than other varieties of ink and has many different added properties that provide it with the ability to meet screen printing demands/expectations and uses. The most commonly used inks for screen printing include- Plastisol Ink, Discharge Ink, Expanding Ink, and Water-Based Ink.

Is there a certain fabric that is best for screen printing?

Yes, as it turns out, natural fabrics (like cotton) tend to yield the best outcome for screen printing due to their ability to absorb the ink well, whereas man-made materials have a harder time absorbing the ink. Cotton and Cotton blends are the most recommended for screen printing.
